This is a good matchup for what I see.. It seems that Liston had more power behind his punches, even though Foreman does have a higher KO rate.. I think they sparred together too, and Foreman said that Liston was the only boxer to ever "back him up".. This was a green Sonny and an Older Liston.
Liston is said to be the overall better technical boxer since Foreman while a good boxer relied more on his power.. I would probably give it to Liston, but I feel like it could go either way.. They were both some of the hardest hitters in Boxing history and both good boxers..
A green George**.. Lmao..
Foreman wins. Foreman had more technical skill, had the punch power to match, along with better speed and endurance, he could also take a punch better.
I would have like to see Foreman vs Holmes. Either in the prime years or older. It's a shame they never crossed paths in the ring because they are the same age. Holmes became champ when Foreman retired.

In their prime, this would be an excellent fight. I think Forrman would win the first few rounds, then Liston would take over to win a split decision.
Foreman was not much a boxer but fist fist is about the size of most peoples head and he had a sledgehammer for a punch and a decent chin
