Are you comparing a townhome to a stand-alone home, or comparing BUYING a townhome versus RENTING a townhome?
Buying a townhome
Speaking just as a layman, I would think that if you're planning on being there for at least 3 years it might be better to buy. You would be building equity instead of paying rent and having nothing when you move out. Yes, it's more hassle when you leave and have to sell it, but at least you've built up maybe $17,000 or more in equity.
It depends what country
United states
Which part.
Minnesota
I wouldn't want to stay in the us
I dont blame you but I'm nore comfortable here than any other county except maybe Hawaii but Hawaii is expensive
I get u, but honestly I would not want to be in America at all. No matter what political side u r on ur going to be f either way. I would definitely move to one of the islands I'm Hawaii or maybe even Canada
Still the same a bit but different
Ooo Canada. I wouldn't want to leave my mom here even though she can be insufferable. But my partner has family in Iowa and I wouldn't want to move him away from family either in minnesota. We gotta stick together
Speak to him about it
Good for space, not great for land
