Yes Oregon is very beautiful. If you drive along highway 1, that’s the best way to go. A lot to do and see.

Honestly if you have the time I’d say take a two week drive up the coast of Oregon starting in Brookings then go up to Astoria. There’s a lot to do and see no matter what. The drive alone is spectacular. So many places to stop, walk on the beaches, stop at the stores, the SeaLion cave, some of the yearly Christmas stores. I went to see Haystack rock, very famous mainly because of the movie the Goonies. Which was also filmed in Astoria.

Just remember r it does get white a bit of rain, drizzling, that’s why it looks so pretty. If you like cheese go to Tillamook to the Tillamook cheese factory.

Never been there. Have a few gift cards from there but never peaked my interest. But there’s also a lot of lighthouses there. One of the more famous ones is the Haceta lighthouse

Make sure you walk up Astoria column. A very nice view from up there. You’ll love it.

It’s just that, it’s a column that you walk inside of that ascends something like 140 plus stairs up. Great views, feels good when the wind is blowing. You can purchased wooden Airplanes for a dollar or something to throw them off the tower

I think you’ll enjoy it. Go one day w your man. Even a week, but I still think you need 2 weeks. There’s a lot of elk just walking around. The trees are so tall. Take plenty of pictures. When we went we slept at a few Hipcamp places. Basically people who had land that they rented out for camping. It wasn’t exactly in the wild but it was out in the woods, one was by the river. I went swimming that next morning. The night before we started up a fire, roasted marshmallows and watched the moon glisten off the water

Haha I’m actually single at the moment, maybe I will if I have a new partner when that time comes or with a friend. But awww it sounds like such a beautiful experience! 🥹 I miss camping or glamping now! Haha. Camping by the river sounds really nice. I’ve camp by a lake before, it’s such a nice sight and it was also really fun driving a boat to explore. 2
weeks sound amazing, but idk… I’m a workaholic… I barely take a vacay and even for more than 1-3 days 😅😂 I’m trying to practice to be better at it though lol.

Trust me I’m a workaholic too. I’m working OT as I type this. I already have 30 hours of OT. I have some 400 hours of PTO. But trust me you’ll want to take two weeks. You won’t regret it. How far are you from Oregon?

I actually see them whenever I go camping around a lake. About 6 months ago, my family went and I swam across the lake and found one. I picked it and swam with one hand back across the lake to give it to my niece. She was like "Wow it's so beautiful! Thank you!" It was the cutest reaction
