Well the 80s seem to be viewed as THE decade of the century nowadays.. I could see why.. The economy had started booming again, great music was coming out.. It just seemed like an overall happier Decade.. I also think that the 00s outside of 9/11 and the Iraqi war which were horrible starts to the decade and the new Millennium, it was close to the 80s.. Good movies were coming out, good music, and just seemed like a fairly happy decade..
