What is the scariest thing that ever happened to you?

When I got blown up there was a real strong feeling of "WTF just happened?" Same when I got stabbed, since it was in the chest and spit a rib. There was a little bit of that when they took a bullet out of my leg because it had been there for over a week and I was worried about "what else is still in there?" Any time you get in a car and have a bag put over your head it's not a pleasant experience, no matter how comfortable you are that you're getting out, because there's always going to be that little voice that F's with you and says "what if this is the time?" I think the saddest was when they told me a large part of my heart was dead, and they weren't sure if I was going to go see my rescue kitten again. They said "if you make it the next couple of days..." but I kept going into vtach and skipped beats, so every time I felt it coming on I thought maybe that'll be the last, and my rescue kitten will have nobody to chase her around the house. That was simultaneously scary and sad. I was sadder when my dog died, to be sure, because that was final and we saw it coming, but that took the "scary" away from it, I guess.

When i had covid-19 and when i dreamed that i'm in a strange dark spaceship and when i looked outside i saw a totally different solar systerm than ours and i was alone on this space ship and it was a little dark inside and than i woke up before knowing anything else and if i was truly alone on that spaceship which i surely doubt...

By the way it was so real, when i woke up, i couldn't believe that i'm in bed in my house...
This was a lesson for me to appreciate the simplest things on earth because that's our only home and outside our home, it's so scary and dark...

Never go anonymous but will have to for this one because it sounds like a Mexican soap opera. I’ve only been scared of 4 things in life that have really shaken me.

1. When my dad was murdered/coma

2. Being in an abusive relationship pregnant and not knowing how to get out/find the strength to be alone again without that person

3. Losing my baby, mom, and dog

4. failing to raise my child correctly and being homeless again.

Wow those sound scary for sure but that is why I am usually careful about who I have sex with (nowadays anyway). The other stuff you can't really control though..

Also, I wouldn't say that some of those were scary, more like sad.. or maybe both.

Accident wise?

I was up in the crows nest above our warehouse and I dropped a screwdriver accidentally and it fell on the warehouse roof. Well I went down to get it and as I was bending down to pick it up I slipped on the icy roof and almost fell through a skylight then I started sliding down the roof all the while I’m pushing my body up so I don’t fall through the skylights I’m sliding over. Then I wedged my feet in the storm drain so I didn’t slide off the roof.

definitely the most scary accident like situation I’ve had.

there was also a time I hit my head on a rusty jagged pipe and had a nasty gash on my head and a concussion had to have several staples put in my head to keep it closed.

I used to have allergy shots. One time after I took it, I suddenly found it hard to breathe. It was a struggle just to inhale it, so they rushed me back to the hospital where I got the shot and I had to use an epi-pen. Would've died if I hadn't of used it.

During a very important free dive for biological matter I can't disclose a few years ago I inadvertently gashed my calf on a chunk of coral. Had to pause the dive while under water to patch myself up. The guys tasked with protecting me so I could focus on collecting the samples were attacked by a great white shark which obviously smelled the blood. That was a tense 5 minutes that resulted in a gutted shark and only a few abrasions.
