And lastly, this Hubba Bubba Squeeze Pop candy that used to sell in stores but discontinued. Boy I tell I use to get these back in the day as a kid being by the magazine section reading Popstar magazine, this was like 2010-2011. This is the shit to get as a kid, it was so good and sweet man I’m mad as hell to found out they stopped selling them.

TBH I don't know any of these toons, and I was a cartoon watcher.. Granted for years sometimes we didn't have Cable.. Some are before my time except Doggie Daycare.. It guess it wasn't that big of a show and I'm surprised I didn't catch it since it was around the time I was a kid.. I do remember Hubba Bubba squeeze though.. I was never a big fan..

I remember watching those cartoons as a kid and I’m 21. Doggie daycare was what I remember vividly as a kid and thought nobody who grew up around the time as me to remember that shows old as is that came out way back from 2004. I even remember Hamtaro.

Oh, yeah I remember Hamtaro.. Used to come in Toonami, when it wasn't gear towards only anime.. But yeah I haven't seen or heard of the others.. I would think I heard of Doggie Daycare.. But even on Google the searches are limited for some reason.. Almost like it's an unknown show..

And you're totally right, it is weird how little comes up online about Doggie Daycare compared to other shows from back then. Like you said the search results are pretty limited. Makes it seem almost lost or unknown.

Wonder if it just wasn't as big a hit so less folks talk about it now compared to bigger name cartoons. Or maybe the studio or production company lost the rights at some point so less official info is out there. Def strange how obscure it seems looking back.

Kinda makes me appreciate we both remember it! Not many others our age probably know about this deep cut doggy show it seems haha. Cool we can rep some underrated nostalgia together dude :)

Aw yeah man most definitely.. And oof you missed out on Toonami.. That's too bad I don't think it was as great as it was around the early to mid 00s.. Then it feels off for some years and can back.. I don't know if it's still on Cartoon Network though..

Oh yeah dude, I totally remember some of those candies! Bubble gum cigars and candy cigarettes were the best. All the kid snacks back then were way cooler than the lame stuff now.

Bottle Caps and Spress were dope too before they got tiny. Way more candy for your money. And Marathon bars, man those things were as long as your arm!

Astro pops were so juicy and always left your lips and face all colorful. Nothing like rocking those colors on the playground for the rest of the day after chowing down.

Seems like candy has gotten way more boring since we were little. No fun shapes or pretend smoking stuff anymore. Just makes me appreciate all the awesome snacks we had growing up even more. The good old days man!

Me too, I had those DVD cartoon classics like that growing up. Even when you open the case up with the tape, it has that vintage smell to it when you smell it. I didn’t think anyone remember those shows while it is so far behind in ancient history and memory compared to modern classics everyone knows like Tom and jerry, the flint stones, and Popeye

I remember Little Audrey and Little LuLu. I never heard of the Max Fleisher one. I remember the old Popeyes he made as well as Superman. Cartoons had great animation and were very well made.

You remember Gabby. little lulu and little Audrey? I feel a lot of people don’t remember due to being a very older cartoon that’s not recognized as much like Tom and jerry is and I grew up on these old school cartoons from back then as a kid.

I don't know if I've seen that particular Gabby cartoon but I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple others. I DID watch Lulu and Little Audrey (she was voiced by the same woman that did Olive Oyl) and was shown a lot with Baby Huey, Casper The friendly Ghost and Popeye (the cheesy `50's era stuff by Seymour Knightel). I also saw, Deputy Dawg, Roger Ramjet, Hector Heathcoat, Tom Terrific, Maxwell Of The Ink Well, Felix The Cat, Crazy Cat, Gumby, Davey & Goliath, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Underdog, King Leonardo, Tennessee Tuxedo, Mr. Magoo, Heckle & Jekyll, Mighty Mouse, Dudley Dooright, Aesop's Fables, Mr. Peabody & His Pet Boy, Sherman, The Super Six, Super Chicken, George Of The Jungle, Snagglepuss, Ruff & Reddy, Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi & Boo Boo, Pink Panther, Ant & Aardvark, The Beatles, Pixie & Dixie, etc.. If it was a cartoon, chances are, I watched it. There's another one I can't recall the name of, it was comedic super heroes thing with Aquaman (I think), Granite Man, and 4 or 5 others.

The Super 6 is the one with Granite Man but that's still not the one I'm thinking of. The one I thought was The Super 6 was The Mighty Heroes.

Wow dude you musta watched SO MANY cartoons growin up! Like all the ones you listed, those were the classics that I watched over and over too.

I definitely remember Lulu, Little Audrey, Huey, Casper, Popeye and all those Fleischer studio characters. That style of animation was just so cool and different from what came after.

And man Rocky & Bullwinkle and Dudley Do-Right was so weird and funny! I used to crack up at all the jokes I didn't even get cuz I was a kid.

The Beatles cartoon was dope too, I remember lovin the songs in that. And how could anyone forget Pink Panther, Yogi Bear, or that tricky ol Coyote tryna catch the Roadrunner?

Seems like we basically watched all the same shows haha. It's crazy which ones have kinda been forgotten versus the ones that really stood the test of time. Cartoons were just the best back then, nothin like kickin back to watch em after school. Thanks for the blast from the past talkin about em all!

Every Saturday morning and every afternoon when I got home from school.
At that point, they weren't Fleischer anymore, as far as I know. Seymour Knightel took over in the late `40's and then ruined Popeye. The last good Popeye's were when Shorty (Arnold Stang) was on the naval ship with him during WWII. Those were Seyymour, too but, he was still doing it the way Max and Dave wanted them done. Somebody else took over in the late `50's and didn't do it much justice, either but, at least it was cooler than Seymour's stuff. By then, Swee'pea could talk (also voiced by Olive) and they added the Goons and the Sea Hag (also voiced by Olive). The Goons also talked but it was just this kind of grunting sound, "Rurr-rurr-RUH-uhn". Another one from Seymour was, Richie Rich.
The original; Fleischer stuff was fantastic!! It was so whacked out and they probably weren't even on drugs back then!!
By the mid `60's, I got tired of the Roadrunner cartoons and pretty much anything Chuck Jones did. He utterly ruined Tom, & Jerry. Gene Deitch before him wasn't very good to them, either.
Yeah, HB did some of the best cartoons in the `60's but, even they wanked out in the early `70's.
I think The Funky Phantom is where they started to lose me.
Even though they're a little cheap and cheesy, today, I loved The Fantastic 4, The Impossibles, The Herculoids and Jonny Quest. Except for The Impossibles, they started using limited animation, by then. Others I loved were The Wacky Racers, Shazan, Frankenstein Jr., Magilla Gorilla, Atom Ant, Secret Squirrel, I watched The Three Musketeers but I wasn't a big fan of it. Touche Turtle, Wally Gator, didn't Penelope Pitstop eventually get her own show? I know Dick Dastardly did.
