I'd suggest to read. Read articles, read books, read magazines.
Get used to the words, look for the vocabulary.
Try and use the new words in your own sentences.
If you've somebody you can talk with in English, do that. If you don't have somebody, look into the mirror and talk with yourself.
Watch videos, movies in English.
Chat with people in English.
That should help you a lot.

The English language is one of the toughest ones to learn. At time it makes no sense at all.
The same word like lead and lead, read, red, read, reed, can be pronounced differently and have different meanings.
Or synonyms, words that sound the same but are spelled differently. Our, hour, you, ewe.
Letters that are there but aren't part of the word, at times it is just stupid.

To improve vocabulary reading is perfect. That way uou will also learn idioms and popular phrases.
