So I am new here barely online. But curious to know what got you all to join. My friend recommended I give it a try.

I found the site through a Google search originally. Specifically I found an interesting paper that suggested that men who claim to like big butts aren't actually so attracted to the size of women's butts but the curvature of a woman's spine:

There was a very strong consensus when a variety of men were presented with photos of women's butts with varying degrees of curvature to the lumbar region of the spine that almost all picked women with a 45-degree curve. Apparently the 45-degree curve held the strongest evolutionary advantage for the mobility of pregnant women.

So I was really excited by the paper and wanted to discuss it and then I discovered this site through the question, "Why do men like big butts?" which allowed me to write a little essay on what I discovered.

It was especially exciting to me since I find a wide variety of women's butt sizes attractive, sometimes small, sometimes big. What is the common denominator? Like why is this so attractive to me?

Then when I discovered the paper, everything made sense! I started observing the spinal curvature of all the women whose butts I found most attractive, and they all had a fairly pronounced curve to the lumbar region of the spine (often exaggerated with heels; I always found women in heels attractive).
