If you can respawn like a game what would you do?

Would you still be a law abiding citizen of your country, I most likely wouldn't.

You can respawn but still feel pain so if you are dying, you'll feel it but when you die fully, you just spawn again as yourself and at the age you died, what would you do? 🤔

I think a huge factor is whether everyone else gets the same ability or just me.

If it's just me, I can't say for sure, but I think I'd be motivated to use that power to do more good, to do more heroic deeds, knowing my life won't end if I die on behalf of helping others. I'm also an adrenaline junkie into extreme sports so I'd probably take bigger risks (maybe to the point of sheer recklessness) in my sports than ever before knowing I can't possibly die. So I suspect this power would bring out both the nobler side of me as well as the reckless jackass in me.

If everyone gets that ability though, I'm pretty sure I would be far more tempted to do evil knowing I can't ever kill someone in a way that won't cause them to revive and respawn right after. That might bring out a more uninhibited and violent side of me.

Also do we heal all our injuries and diseases when we respawn? That would also make a big difference in my temptations. For example, if I break a leg, I might just shoot myself to speed up recovery. If everyone gets this ability, killing someone would be healing them.

Then I think I'd probably and regretfully be tempted to do a lot of things we'd consider evil now. 😂 That said, I think we'd have to completely reevaluate morality and ethics if everyone has this power. For example, public safety doesn't seem so important from an ethical perspective. If a building is structurally unsound and collapses on people, it's not a big deal if they all just respawn.

Public safety is actually at the core of ethics from my perspective. So many things we deem good or evil seems to tie in to public safety at its root. Yet if violations to public safety don't result in our loved ones dying permanently, then it no longer seems to matter as much, and I think our ideas of good and evil will radically change in such a scenario.
