February is a weird month, technically it's winter and often the coldest here yet the signs of spring begin to make themselves shown. The spring flowers like daffodils and crocus are opening and the birds are getting frisky.

So where you are is spring in the air or just around the corner?

The electric fence of discrimination may still be up, but together, we can find a way to jump over it or even take it down completely. The warm sun of spring shines upon all, regardless of their color, orientation, or gender.

Its only the middle of February. We still have at least 2 more months of winter left to go here. There is usually still ice on the lakes the end of April or the beginning of May. Spring is a long way away yet.
