Yes and no. I love winter, the cold dry air, and skiing. So I'm sad to see the longer daylight and warmer temps arriving. But I'm looking forward to getting back outdoors more for trail runs and work around my yard. What I'm not looking forward to is our brutal hot humid summers here. I love the cold and the heat kills me.

It is. Spring and fall here in new England are the months pretty much everyone here agrees are the best months of the year. Only a minority like me hate the summer. And very few like me would pick winter as their favorite time of year. Sigh, I've always been the outlier on the bell curve my entire life.

I can understand you about the cold. I thrive in the cold and I would definitely choose to live in a country where it is cold all year round because of it.

Where I live spring has actually come early. And flowers are beginning to bloom and days get longer.

Spring is already here where I live in northern California.
The daytime weather is gorgeous with temps around 70, and the nights are mid to high 40s, not as cold as they were during the winter.
Our giant rosemary bush has been covered with purple flowers for almost a month. It is always the first to bloom.
Our lilac bush, which is more like a small tree, bloomed last week and is now at its peak of perfection.
Our redbud tree is blooming but hasn't quite reached its peak.
The oak trees on our property have fresh green leaves.
The irises in our yard are blooming.

I love it. I don't look forward to summers here.

Absolutely. I came to this country almost 8 months ago with a view to trying out surfing and only last weekend got into the water (I don't really like the sea to be honest) and again this afternoon with some colleagues who are super helpful patient instructors and had a blast with too much swallowed sea water I still fancy going out again though the warmer spring should see it becoming more likely to be enjoyable.

Yes. I lived in SoCal my entire life until a few years ago where it's 80-110 degrees 75% of the year. Now live in MO where I get all 4 seasons. Not looking to the humidity in the summer though!
