OMG yes. Especially in my late teens and early 20s when I thought the point of drinking alcohol was to get drunk. I got really sick and had terrible hangovers too many times.

I realized that getting too drunk wasn't any fun.

I still drink on occasion, but I do it to enjoy the taste and the pleasant buzz. But I know my limits. I mostly enjoy good wines and cocktails, but enjoy other alcoholic beverages, too.

For most of my teens and twenties it was a way of life. I did not drink anymore than any of my friends but it was a different world back then. If we drank that much today we would be in rehab.
