I don't have lingering regrets. For as long as I can remember, I've seen those types of regrets as not being useful. The only type that I have is the more immediate kind with an outcome I can still heavily influence.

When you get to my age they stack up, most happen completely out of control. All pretty even. A lot are horrendous.
Life gives you a blip to make a choice with no view of the outcome. You will make the wrong choice.

I regret that I didn't spend enough time with my grandma before she passed away. And I regret that I didn't put that damn chicken back in it's cage 😭

I want to say my study choice, taking huge loans to study etc. However, one slight of change in my life, could have taken a different course in life and I wouldn't have ended up meeting my wife! So no regrets!
