I'm actually scared of driving. It is not a chore for me but I'm actually scared of it. I can do it and have been doing it for 28 years now starting from driving myself to and back from school and work.

One of the biggest fears I've not overcome in the slightest is the fear of hurting someone else as a result of my own mistakes. I'm not so afraid of hurting myself based on my own mistakes; as an adrenaline junkie I'm used to that happening all the time.

There is no everyday situation where that dreadful outcome that I hurt someone else based on a mistake I made seems more likely to occur than driving. So it is one of the scariest everyday things to do for me that I've found remaining. I'm less afraid when it's a smaller vehicle like a motorcycle than a bigger one since the odds of hurting others seems less with a smaller vehicle.

I really don't like driving in the city... because that's not driving at all, there's a million red lights, billions of turns, trillions of bumps and holes... and you're not even moving that much in traffic

roads, highways... I do like actual driving

racing... loved that stuff, but I do not do it anymore

I like driving. Drove about 40k miles per year for my last job, for a good 8 years. It bugs me out because literally everyone on the road besides me sucks at driving😝, but that means I don’t feel comfortable in the passenger seat either. I like to feel in control when I’m in a car, haha

I don't like being in control lol I like relaxing in the passenger seat as long as the driver is a great one. If the driver sucks then I'm just as stressed out as when I'm driving 😅

I HATE driving. I've always hated driving. I had a phobia of driving for the longest time and I still to this day won't drive on th highway unless my gps somehow redirects me onto one and if I does I take the immediate next exit. I still almost get into accidents when turning at a green light because someone else decides to take the same turn at the same time and try to end up in the same lane as me at the same time.

Yep, I'm the same. I hate it because so many people don't follow basic rules of the road and it stresses me out. Even as a kid I had nightmares of being in the driver seat of car and almost or actually getting into accidents.

You have no idea I had to sit through a video called Red Asphalt in Drivers Ed. Extremely graphic video meant to scare you out of drunk driving. Showed the worst accidents imaginable body parts, organs didn't make me feel any better to have to put "donor" on my drivers license

Thankfully no but I did almost get myself my dad my sister brother and cousin killed on the highway once while on my permit. Almost hit by a semi coming out of a rest stop

I somewhat enjoy driving on a reasonably sized motorbike. Solo, and when the road is clear enough - with no cops around.
In all other cases it's just a necessity to me

I actually really enjoy driving. Especially if the view is scenic. I get snacks and an audiobook or podcast to listen to and just enjoy my thoughts and the road. The furthest I've ever driven in a day was from Conroe, TX to Flagstaff, AZ. It was about sixteen hours of driving, stopping only for gas and restroom, totally solo. I loved it.
