Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yOnly if it is not watered down New Age nonsense. You can manifest through understanding the scripture and through faith, and belief, calling in God's promises. Depending on what they are, it may or may not require work on your part. For example I've seen instant healing and instant manifestations through scripture and the laying of hands. I've seen instant healing after just one prayer that wasn't even being done to heal that specific ailment!
I've seen God turn around businesses after prayer but it was about 3 weeks later. I've seen God take action, or noticed the action He took after I petitioned Him to investigate and expose some evil stuff going on in an industry (it was very specific). Thus manifestation can be from the power of the tongue through how it impacts others, or through how the tongue calls in God's promises, acknowledges your gifts from being an heir to Abraham or God's angels acting on behalf of something you did / said (only if God's Word). I've seen manifestation after I became a cheerful giver and my friend saw exactly the same thing. It was mentioned in scripture.
TLDR. New Age Law Of Attraction that ignores God is watered down nonsense to lead you astray. But manifestation through God's promises, the power of the tongue and / or scripture is the only way because only through God \ and, or the Holy Spirit is anything possible.

Opinion Owner+1 y@Biancam13 When you've seen instant manifestation through God's promises being declared. And I mean instant in real-time (and with a witness). Then all of those other so called 'legitimate' beliefs are nothing. But everyone is free to continue with the watered down versions.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Maybe you’ve said it, but do you believe it? Someone revised this into, “Sticks and stones may break our bones, but words will break our hearts.”
There is life and death in the power of the tongue.

I personally do believe in it, because it has worked for me. Usually, I imagine what it would feel like to have whatever I'm manifesting, feeling the joy of having it. I imagine it like I'm a little kid again playing make-believe.
And then, I trust in the knowing that that thing will come to me.
So far, I've manifested getting a job opportunity I never thought I'd get, friendship with a specific person, thicker hair, and my current boyfriend. I wrote down a list of characteristics about what I wanted in a partner, trusted it would happen and my boyfriend showed up with all those characteristics. He's literally the guy I wrote about in the list.
So I do believe in it.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yhow to do it, if it can be done, is in this book. i have manifested things before and it's worked for me, and look at Jim Carrey and Matthew McConaughey videos, they swear by it (long before they were rich and famous)
https://www.austincc.edu/adechene/game.pdf
if you don't trust that link just search for "Florence Scovel Game of Life pdf." It's a book from 1925 which Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer used during their careers to teach manifesting and affirmations
you don't have to believe in it, but if you want to, that's where to learn about it, and it will lead you to other places. if you believe in God, it is consistent with that also

manifestation or in other words mind set does matter. because if you give up, you won't even want to do the work even if you could. but it certainly isn't all that matters.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yWell manifestations have worked for me at instances when I had a clear conscious and knew exactly my sense of direction and have worked towards it. I step out with intent and work towards what I want and somehow the universe delivers in amazing ways. The universe simply listens and delivers. You could try that, but keep your intentions and manifestations to yourself and work silently towards. Your life does not need announcements... so try it out and see!

+1 yIn a way, yes and no.
Yes, because your beliefs act as a lens through which you perceive the world. If you have a firm belief in something, you are likely to manifest it through specific actions that need to be taken.
No, because I don't think it happens due to some divine intervention or something; it occurs because of simple cause and effect.
