Some of the implied stoic messages in movies. E. g. the main character gets humiliated by the bad guys, but he sucks it up silently, with dignity, and bides his time until he can seek revenge at a time and place of his choosing. I think seeing someone keeping their cool under such pressure and displaying dignity, humility, patience - that is inspiring and useful.
