Question

My 1st passion started at a young age and I knew I wanted to be a loving Mom.
My 2nd passion was to be a secretary in an office because I loved having a desk in my room from an early age and loved paper and pens and pretending I was a secretary.
Lucky for me I got to do both 🙂

Music and records. I always wanted to do something with either or both. Work on the radio as a DJ, in a record store, a music library, at a record pressing plant or record distributor, be a drummer in a famous rock band making records for people to listen to.
Apparently, I know too much about records to GET a job in a radio station, record store or record library because none of them will hire me and there's no pressing plants anywhere near here (the nearest one is about a 4 hour drive from here). There WERE 3 distributors nearby but, I didn't know it `til they were getting ready to shut down!
Okay, I DID get to work in one record store about 3 days a year for 2 years helping them with their inventory and another one 5 hours a week cleaning records for about half a year and another pricing albums for two days and a book store cleaning and pricing records for 5 hours a week for 4 weeks but, total that up and smooth it out to full time hours and I probably worked in "a" record store for a total of 5 or 6 weeks.
I DID get to be a drummer in a rock band for 25 years and we were making our third album when we broke up but, for the most part, outside of a couple people in Europe and a lot of fans in Erie and Ohio, we never hit it big.
I DID make a comedy record in the `90's and recorded two others since then but never released those two and the same goes for my solo album.
Mostly, what I do, is edit music for my various collections and compile lists of my fave bands. And, I've helped 5 people write books about records, and, I've got 2 or 3 books of my own in the works; 2 are reference books about records, the other is just my life in the band, mostly. A number of people have said that I led an interesting life that'd make a great movie so, I'll write it and, if someone else deems it worth turning into a movie, so be it. If not, at least I have a kind of diary of what I've done. Otherwise, I've had at least 64 different jobs, most only lasting a few days to a few month. A few I've never been paid for, and most of them were jobs I had no prior experience with and were not full time. All the stuff I HAD experience with and loads of knowledge of, I couldn't get hired to do if I paid THEM!! From what I can tell, in order to get those jobs, you HAVE to look at it as just something to do and put money in your pocket until something better comes along!! If you've got a passion for it, you'll NEVER get hired for it!!
As for the band, as Andy Partridge once put it: when we first started 25 years ago, we dreamed of being very rich and famous, getting LOTS of girls to fall in love with us and getting beer in the dressing rooms! Well, we've got the beer in the dressing rooms...

My passion in life is definitely writing. I have been writing a paranormal novel for a while now and finally finished it but I have to go back and edit it. The editing is the worse part of the writing process.

Definitely playing sports. Athletic competition is what gets me out of bed in the morning. I’m very fortunate to still be playing in my mid-40s.

Just won my second championship last night in my newest sport of hockey, which I just started around 42 years old🏆😎🏆

I don't have a passion or any interests, nor do I enjoy anything. I've given up on trying in anything, anymore. I've resigned to staying in bed, drinking until I throw up, pass out, and repeat the process until I run out of alcohol.

Then I deliver food for a few hours, so I can buy more alcohol. I wasn't meant for success, I'm not capable of it, and all of the stubbornness with none of the potential won't change anything, I realize that now, and I've accepted it
