If you set yourself a goal how many attempts will it take you before you give up?

could be me trying 200 times over the years, because sometimes it is about the process and gradual improvement, it is about learning and solving too, trying different approaches, perhaps

now I am wondering Yogi... is there a yoga position there that you've been trying to do but have not been able to do so yet?

Yes there are and I have never given up trying. I just keep practicing and maybe eventually one day I'll get there. This is the case with handstands and at the moment I am working on the middlesplits which are a bit more difficult for me.

It depends. Some things I change my mind and it's not worth it other things I just keep trying even if it takes for ever. Even if I'm not making any progress I just wanna keep trying to head in that direction and hope I get some help or just the right environment and the time and energy to do it.

There is no set amount, for the most important thing I have to do I lost count but it's 7 years straight and counting. If I am not motivated to do something and its more difficult than expected I give up. I have done the impossible before because someone wrongly told me it was possible only to tell me after the fact he was mistaken and it couldn't be done.

Three good attempts, if I’m serious about it perhaps three or four weaker attempts so I can reassess and see where the gaps are, if the goal aha to be realigned, etc. After all, success can sometimes be born of a prior failure… every morning is a new opportunity to figure it out.

Never a set number. My effort may wax and wane but the challenge remains until I beat it. Took more tries than I can count to quit cigarettes but I did it.
