I always look up to Steve Jobs and other geniuses but we’re soon going to see no genius on humans.

Steve Jobs and other "geniuses" were/are exactly those people that were the pioneers of AI and other programs that render people stupid and addicted to the internet and other social media that fry the brain of children and adults alike.

Believe me but if I could turn the clock back, I would make sure that Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee, the English computer scientist that is best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web would have a tough day and prevent him from creating this monstrosity we have now.

No internet, no AI and people would live substantially happier and for all those obese people in the world also much healthier because they would not be stuck 24/7 behind a monitor and become totally dumb.

Most younger people, and I mean those born during the internet time have lost the ability to spell properly, have no idea of proper grammar and are sentence construction.

AI is going to exacerbate that a hundred fold in the future.

That reminds me of the movie "Wall*E" where people are just sitting on their lounge chairs, getting more and more obese and becoming more and more stupid because they no longer know how to use their brains.

No because AI is like VR, an overhyped technology that ends up just pissing people off and causing problems until no one but a few niche people use it.

AIs can't actually think, they are just programs, so they can't be innovative, they can only steal human innovation, and the tide is turning toward lawsuit territory. The future for AI in the creative sector is in the trash.

Anything you've ever seen an AI create is just something it stole from a human.

Probably. As AI can't create new stuff, just rearange old stuff thats already there.

So if corporate greed replaces all creative heads, we may hit a wall of stagnation and decay. Where AI just copies AI, getting worse and less creative each time.

And don't give too much credit to ceos, most of them just exploited the innovation made with tax dollars and profited of years or decades of publicly funded research.

no. AI is going to sky rocket innovation but is long term gonna make human minds deteriorate cause they're no longer needed.

just one example: they let googles deep mind research stable christaline structures which traditionally was an arduous trial and error process to find out which are stable. within a short time span, the ai has found 380.000 completely new stable crystaline structures. for references: even our modern processes that don't include AI would have needed 800 years for that. so if that's not "innovation" I don't know what is.
