When the shit storm passed, I emerged weakened yet defiant, clutching the remaining scraps of dignity tightly around me. Washing my trembling hands, I locked eyes with a goddess at the sink. It's happened twice in recent years, both by accident.

One in which there were no pictures and the genders were written in some weird foreign language, not Spanish.

I didn't realize it until I was already done, nobody else was there, so no big deal.

Then again when I was very tired, and there were just 1 person bathrooms, I went to the men's, but a loud bang from the front of the store distracted me, and I just went into the nearest door, thinking it was the men's, but it wasn't

I didn't do it by accident. I had to pee and there was no stalls available in the women's restroom so I went to the guys restroom and luckily for me no one was in there.

I wasn’t drunk, I just didn’t read the sign. The door was already open and I walked in. It was a single use bathroom anyway (so it didn’t strike me as odd that there was no urinal), and it was in a hockey rink, I don’t think there was a woman even in the building at the time, lmao

I've peed in "the wrong bathroom" a few times and even shit in it, too but, no big fat hairy deal. Most often, it was after hours for that building so, there wasn't gonna be anyone that'd catch me.
The first time I went in was in the 4th grade and I just wanted to see what was in there. I don't think I peed, I just went in for a quick look and right back out.
