What or who has been your biggest inspiration throughout your life so far and why?

my mom, my ideal self, and Jesus.

my mom was like Jesus personified in my life. She was very kind and very strong in my childhood. Very supportive. Always ready to teach on anything and always goofy. Great blend of seriousness and humor. Passion and compassion. Determination and wit.

She was bold but like almost 4 feet 😂 so her toughness as mom, female and short lady was well grasped by myself.

She was committed and kind to me. Many times in the hospital I’d be and she was my greatest defender always inquisitive of doctors and what’d they inject to me. In the rush of New York hospitals and emergencies. She’d stay many nights with me.

She was my anchor and she was my key to the wholesome and humble aspects of the Bible and of God. The purest parts.

My ideal self because I was inspired to think of the best person I could be because of them and that version always kept me in check throughout my years in internal dialogues/monologues and such.

Long answer with no proper punctuation, yes, but the response remains true and close to my heart. :]

My true self. Old mytake of mine that mostly described the process is here (It should still be decently accurate) : The Journey to the Real You (Your Identity is Not a Label!)

But I have since boiled it down to "The real you is what you love in others". And to me that's my ultimate role model and person I am loyal to being. It also helped me in a relationship because when I met my match she had those same traits I long for and she loved the fact I had the ones she longed for. We were both authentic to ourselves and could be ourselves. Something I couldn't have said if I had not been true to what I love.
