Should I move into a trailer?

In order to save on rent etc.

What do u guys think about it? What are the drawbacks and advantages?

I'm in a tight situation when I need to hold onto any cash I get, and I stay outside mostly. I only need a house to store things and relax/sleep. I really need more like a storage rather than a house. I would, in fact, gladly live in a hut somewhere on the outskirts, but local laws forbid buying land smaller than 100m2 or whatever. I live in a popular city where apartments are very in demand and expensive.

There will still be lot rent each month. If you do get one, get one that is made after 1976 so it meets HUD standards and is classified as a manufactured home instead of a mobile home, and you can get a loan for it. Plus it will make it easier to resale it later on.

It depends how much you’re looking to spend on the trailer if it’s new or old then you gotta get a trailer park to put it on and pay rent there

Unless you take it to a friends property and they don’t charge you or a relative anywhere else in the community of where you’re living the cops are gonna ask you for a permit and eventually run you off maybe even fine you

land is never free. You always have to pay property taxes even if you paid for the land and for me they Doubled my two houses the property taxes the moment somebody in my family passed away I got screwed over twice and I’m about to face it for the second time again this time you know what im out

I don't know. I know that if I set up a hut somewhere deep in a forest, it would be a while before anybody would find me.

You will have no electricity where are you going to get your food at and you probably can’t drive into the woods so you’ll have to walk it’s dangerous
