I have a baby bunny living under my new shed. He will let me come right up to him. I could probably pet him too but that would be a no no.

It's adorable. If it's hanging around your house and there aren't any others, it might have a hard time surviving on its own. Easy prey for dogs, coyotes and hawks. It might not even have survival instincts.
If it's not afraid of you, it might be a domesticated bunny that got out somehow.
If it was me, I'd feed it and see if it would come to me. Maybe it wants a home. It might even decide that you are its mommy. Just like a stray cat that befriends you.
I wouldn't worry about touching it. I heard that its a myth that animals who have been touched by humans and have a trace of human scent get rejected by their own kind.
Warning: The following might make you sad.
Lliam makes good points. If any neighborhood dogs hang around your place, train them now to stay away. We had several baby bunnies in our backyard one spring, and then a single dog came over and killed them all in one go. Then it walked across the street to its owner and licked her face.
Many years ago on one of the home video shows, a girl let her bunny go and it was snatched up by a hawk in seconds.
Unfortunately, i can’t see photos on the app. I see photos on other apps on my phone.
Do you have a smartphone?
@exitseven
That was going to be my suggestion. The apps sucks, just like the bots they now have. The web version of this site is way better.
@ApplePie409 I'm on the web and see the picture. Yes, cute!
When I was in law school, I found a bunny shortly after Easter. Obviously, someone got tired of their pet. I posted signs but no one claimed it. I took the rabbit to my aunt, who lived in a rural area. It was solid white.
I always use the site. Even on phone because it saves space. If I can connect fine on the website itself, I see no need to download any apps unless it's required.
There's a reason he chose you. You have to take care of the little bugger I wrote a whole question about the family of skunks that became my pals. It started with Maxine. She came up to my sliding glass window and stare at me while I was watching a movie. I figured Maxine was hungry, so I gave her an ice cream sandwich. The next day I had 20 skunks come to visit. The point of my question was that myself and Doctor Dolittle kno3 that animals can talk..
A bunny that small, tells me that he lost his siblings and mama. Now go give the little rat a slice of apple. He's counting on you. You will go to heaven. lol
I'm actually watching "Lucifer" on Netflix. The Devil's son quits the family business, and is taking a lot of shit this for it... but I digress. LOL
I was in the same boat with my skunks.
He looks really young, like he needs his momma. You might give him some lettuce to eat.

Carrots and gummies bears.
I put lettuce out many times but the rabbits don't touch it. They love the grass in my yard though. That's mostly what they eat.
@RingOfFire Rabbits should like lettuce, unless they are epicureans. I had a tortoise that loved lettuce, watermelon, dandelions, and hibiscus. He ate grass when he had none of the others.
Yes I am aware but the rabbits here wouldn't touch it.
I saw an opossum walking into the bushes a few hours ago. Haven't seen one of those in a long time and wouldn't expect to see them normally during the day. The birds were squawking a warning like crazy.
Looked like a giant rat.

Now you just have to watch for cats and crows. crows usually come in the am and one more time at dusk and a rabbit hole is only a depression in the yard and even if you walk the yard a bunnies best defence is to not move so watch out when you mow
So adorable.

I found him on Monday in this trail I usually walk him. I wanna steal him but Ihes kinda fast.
Cute bunny. Good job of not touching a wild animal. Let the bunny stay wild.
Just curious... how did you determine the bunny is male? 😏
Awww he's so cute! I wouldn't know what to do to him. Maybe he's looking for food.
It looks like you have a new security guard!
If there's one, I'm sure there's more. At least he's cute. I had raccoons under my shed until my dog evicted them years ago
Pretty sure you can pet it at this age, he or she is probably eating regular food and no longer nursing
.

.
Me tooooo!!!
He/she sure is cute. I have a baby bunny too but my dog appears to be afraid of it, which isn't a bad thing I suppose.
Re Update: Try some whole wheat or seeded bread, they seem to like that at my place.
Bit of food and in no time that’s a decent meal
Yeah! He's cute! I've taken pictures of baby bunnies and full grown bunnies. Some babies are with their mom or on their own. Others are just full grown bunnies.
Yes. he's scared and learning. Life is smazing if think about it…he didn't exist months sgo… now is perceiveing the world. Your cats indoor only? Let your grass grow high so has place to hide.
He is adorable, but he may bite you if you petted him.
Looks exactly like the ones I see in my yard every day here. We had a bumper crop of rabbits this spring! They are everywhere all over my yard and the neighborhood!
Cute as hell.
The sad part is that they have such a short lifespan. 😥
He's an Eastern Cottontail rabbit by the way.
That’s awesome. They will prob move on…
