Happy Juneteenth! I’m off EYYYDAY😝 Got an early game tonight though, so still hustling around to fit in a day skate, the gym, and a pregame meal. Almost feels like work, but it’s all recreation😂 I guess I took my old man for a haircut this morning, so maybe that counts as some semblance of work, lmao

Only government workers, banks and union members have the day off. Everyone else doesn't give a shit about fake holidays. That goes for almost half the federal holidays.
FYI for people from other countries. The US has ZERO mandated holidays for anyone other than federal employees.. I think most Americans would be lucky to even name all the federal holidays. Because nobody cares.

  I've chatted up a few people who didn't understand the date when it was in DD/MM/YY, or who thought the citizens from other countries were cheap for not tipping workers. I dunno, it's obvious that Juneteenth is a national holiday, but I think some Americans think everyone else has heard about it?
