Do you ever think you see someone staring at you out of the corner of your eye and then realize the weren’t looking at you?

I don't know why/if I’m the only one who does this (probably not) but whenever I think I see people are staring at me from of the corner of my eye, I am both tempted to stare right back and also never make eye contact with them at the same time. Usually, I attempt to not make eye contact with them. This usually leads me to start thinking that they are probably staring at someone/something around me. Does this ever happen to you? Or have you ever thought someone was staring at you only to realize they were staring at something/someone else around you?

if I think and feel someone is looking at me... and can notice them on my perifetial vision, then they're definitely staring... lol

Not really. Sounds a bit like paranoia.
However, maybe as a woman you get more looks than the average man.

I don’t know if I’d say paranoia given that it’s not from a place of mistrust or suspicion, but I appreciate your response nonetheless. Also, thank you for being respectful unlike *a certain someone* who responded quite rudely to this question.

Nah. You pretty much have to get in my face and stare right into my eyes to get me to notice..
