Do you feel it when someone's staring at you secretly?

Lol me being a guy, and basically an old man too now, I don't have that happen much. However, there are times when I do feel something. I believe that someone is checking me out at least. Most likely, they are wondering what this strange old man is doing. I've definitely had that feeling though, and had it when I was younger too. Just like girls have caught me checking them out, I have caught a couple checking me out... when I was young and definitely not even close to as many as I checked out. The real question is what causes this feeling? Are people really sensing that someone is checking them out, or do they just happen to get that feeling for another reason only to notice someone is checking them out as well. My guess is that it's the last thing, but maybe someone has some psychological training or something and can explain why either of these could or could not be the case. Sorry if I didn't help at all, I started out thinking that while I couldn't solve the main problem of your question, I might be able to help with understanding it somewhat. Not sure I've accomplished anything now RLOL.

Can I make eye contact with them? Then probably yes as one could pick up on visual cues. Otherwise probably not.

When I was in college, I was peering around the cafeteria counter to see if there were cups. I didn't realize short of where I was staring a female with bum contouring thin leggings was filling the a drink cup. She turned around and looked at me like are you for real as it pretty much seemed I was staring at her bum. When I realized what was in my immediate vision, I raised an eyebrow thinking wow, nice bum, only to then see her staring me down and I managed a weak smile. She laughed realizing what happened.

Sometimes what appears to be staring is just not realizing what is in one's line of sight when one is actually looking at something else.

I'm really bad at detecting whether or not people are staring because they find me attractive (or any other signs of flirtation/attraction, really), so I don't really think much of it. I usually just smile at anyone I make eye contact with and go on about my day.

I think I have somewhat of a sense for that - there is a spy at my work whose job is to look at how you do your job when you don't know your being watched and I can detect he is watching me even if he sneaks up on me from behind

When I was younger I felt eyeballs from everyone and it really made me feel like a freak. But now I realize they just want a connection in some way, its admiration and attentiveness.
If it's a woman, just smile baby, life is gravy.
If it's another guy, it can be good or bad. I can tell if he just wants a friend. Or on the flipside, feel that judgment or jealousy burn through my skin. I still smile, cause life is gravy 🤤

yes and i always look back at them and give them a look like i know whats up. some smile back and some look away quickly. i try to keep to myself too so i dont stare at people unless i catch them looking first.

i get a lot of girls staring at me for some reason. i think its because im very weird and super blunt.

I have a co-worker who stares at me though he only does it because he knows it makes me uncomfortable lol and I can definitely feel whenever he's looking at me even if it's from across the warehouse.

What was you taught when you were a child? Don't talk to strangers, don't point, don't stare. It's not about why I think it's rude, it's just rude. And first of all it's even more rude cuz I hate it. I don't like being stared at and there's no logical reason for you to stare at me unless something is rally wrong. I tell people all the time treat others how you also wish to be treated. Because if you look at the person the wrong way you may cause a lot of problems. Self awareness is important and when was never assumed that everybody likes, enjoys, or hates the same thing.

Plus you do not want to God people the wrong intention. I sense and feel everything and the energy of people. As sensitive and intuitive as I am, I have been through a lot. And I want to be respected as everybody else. I don't care if other girls like it. I personally do not.
