I usually start out on my right side, switch to my back in the middle of the night (without knowing it) then back to my right side before I wake up.

I told my doctor once that I don't like sleeping on my left side because I can hear my heart beating, which I don't hear on my right side, and I sometimes hear on my back or front. He said he hadn't heard of that, then at my next visit, he told me he had researched it and it made sense.

I have sleep apnea when I sleep on my back. It makes me snore and hold my breath.
