Cleaning. Cleaning dishes. It never meets anyone's standards that I'm with. I'll be scrubbing each plate for a year with soap and water and somehow the fam always says they're greasy and dirty. I get shit every time I do the dishes. It's not like I'm trying to do a bad job on purpose or trying to rush the job. I genuinely do it until I see they're clean and it never seems to be good enough 😑

Most "artistic" things like drawing, painting, coloring, creative writing, and things like that. I have a very analytical mind, which means I'm good at logic and problem-solving, but it definitely comes at the expense of the more creative skills. I can crank out a quality research paper with no problem, but ask me to write a poem and I'd rather die. Ask me to sketch something and it's probably going to look like an incompetent 8-year-old drew it.

You can't have everything.

But I'm also good enough at driving to crash your car into a building or tree almost immediately after starting it, :D 🤷🏻

I'm probably terrible at sports too, but I find them really boring so I'm not going to test that...

Well, yes. I'm an excellent driver - I went to racing school and used to race in an amateur level. But I definitely didn't get dealt the artistic/creative gift that folks like you got.

Each of us gets some things and not others. No one has it all. We all have to figure out how to use the gifts we were given as best we can, and pay others to do the things we can't.

Yeah all my coordination skills are siphoned off into my fingers, so I'm good at drawing, instruments, and gaming, but the rest of me is a poorly coordinated clutz. My analytical side is heavy on photographic memory, biology, and logistics, which I use when drawing, but I forget basic things a lot, like schedules, or what day it is, or what people said because my brain is always proccupied.

I think the brain just has a multutasking cap, and humans lack the biological resources to master everything because its just too nutritionally and neurologically expensive. A bit like pumping too much electricity through wiring and frying the wires. So if our brains excel at something, it has to "steal" those resources and electrical current from elsewhere in the brain, putting something else as a handicap, and the only difference is whether or not the person notices whatever it gimped woth whatever lifestyle they chose.
