My anger... it is the one thing which will guaranteed push people away even though there is absolutely no reason to be afraid of me.

I have had a very rough life so far and my pain comes out in anger; anger aimed at myself because when something goes wrong I see myself as a failure. That's how everyone has always treated me: as a failure (I have even been told by my mother on numerous occasions that I would never succeed in life; my father said he disagrees with my 'life style', as if I have chosen for this fucked up life).

I understand it is very distressing to hear me angry... but I am not dangerous, I am not a threat to anyone (ok.. I can be to myself; got 5 suicide attempts behind my name. Last 4 were 18th of September 2021).

I know what people are thinking if I tell them this, or if some of you read this: Get Help!

Yes, I have tried... I have tried so hard... but the British National Health Service is dead; all my desperate pleas are being ignored, even after my suicide attempts I did not get therapy. I am in survival mode, and have been for 35 odd years; all I care about is staying alive in the hope that my kids will come looking for me as soon as they have managed to rip themselves away from their mother's skirt.

(They are 14 and 16 already; they know how their mother is, my daughter has even noticed that she is also being subjected to emotional manipulations... but I think they are the same as me, exacerbated by the fact of course that their mother is their mother; they do not dare to turn against her, question her, or abandon her out of fear what might happen)

Complex PTSD isn't really recognised in the US because it hasn't been included in the 'DSM-5'; it's essentially the same as PTSD, but whereas PTSD comes from 1 single event; Complex PTSD comes from several Traumatic events. It's a bit like an onion, but then layer upon layer of trauma which often makes it harder to pinpoint where the initial trauma started.

I have been diagnosed with Complex PTSD (The UK does recognise it).

I have been working out since 9th grade. I was benching 300 pounds and I ran marathons. I had a body fat ratio of 17%. . they never really got any smaller. I am married and don't really care about it as much.

@DrPepper12 I had to have a flight physical before I went to basic training. I sat outside the exam room and memorized the colors the guys ahead of me said be a use I figured I might have problems. I passed but during basic they gave me a color threshold test which is harder to pass. I think 64 was passing and I got a 62. They let me taketh test two more times and each time I did worse. I was dropped from the program.
