My kids

I've been without them for +/- 3.5 years because my ex is an abusive cunt; I've had just about 1 year contact with them in the past, nearly, 5 years.

This should have been the best time with my kids; I've been a strict parent. We had been told by a Paediatrician that kids need strict boundaries and that they need to be enforced, so that's what I did. I've got 2 very smart kids, who did well in school and are very well liked... so I must have done something right (Parenting is about the only thing I am proud of in my life)... but of course that didn't go without conflict, their mother has been sabotaging me and the kids are firmly stuck under her 'skirt'.

I've always told them that the older they become, my parenting will change; they'll get more and more liberties and will be treated as equals... All the liberties they have gained in the last couple of years we were together was thanks to me; if it was up to their mother they'd be 'locked up in a gilded cage'... but it never got that; I lost them when they were 11 and 13.

An entire fake town and a fake job for my mother so that i can pay other people to act like her manic episodes are normal. And I don't have to worry about her losing her job and then she'll really have too much time on her hands.

Might need something similar for my dad too one day now that I'm really thinking about it.
