Im talking mainly about strangers. Like, its obvious when someone is downs because they have the same traits etc

I definitely can get the impression someone could be autistic pretty quickly, but the same traits could also come from anxiety, shyness, etc so until I know them a lot better it's hard to tell. Of course I'm not a doctor and I'm not going to diagnose anyone.

I was diagnosed with autism later in life, but once I was exposed to that, I was able to see it very clearly in others. Truthfully, I think everyone is at least a little on the autism spectrum because we all have little things that make sense to us and not to anyone else since that’s how we like it.

Yes, I used to work directly with autistic kids for about a year and some young adults for a few years. But I recommend having someone get a proper screening done by a doctor who can diagnose it.

Well that brings more context to your question lol. Tbh most people will not be able to identify if someone is autistic and will be more confuse by their behaviors. Even if most people know someone is autistic, they may not even understand most of their behaviors and symptoms unfortunately. There will be some people who is willing to be educated and takes the time to be considerate of individuals with any developmental delay and mental health diagnosis though.
