From what I've witnessed for most people they didn't like going to school, personally myself included, I think the only time I liked going to school was when I liked a chick and I skipped every class but the one I had with her 💀

I'd jump the gate back to school to get back to that class which worked out perfectly cause it was the last class 😂

Yes, a lot.
I had a really good time during my school years, except from certain moments that I had to retaliate.
I miss Middle School and High School the most. There I met my best friends.
With a few exceptions, we were lucky and most of our teachers were good. We also did school occupations and protests pretty often especially during our latest years there.
Sometimes I dream that I am still in High School and when I wake up because of my alarm I am like: "Damn no 😭, shit, I gotta work".

The government. It was terrible during that time, there were also many things going wrong with the education system (still are), some of the teachers even went with us and during that time a cop murdered a 15 year old kid, which created even more protests.

Dumb cop didn't help their case at all, but that's terrible, and here I thought it was an innocent protest at school because the bread sticks are too hard :3 😂

No, no even teachers went with us, they were underpaid, the facilities were/are pretty bad, even the coverage of the school material wasn't good, many people paid out of school courses to be taught stuff, it costed a lot and not everyone could afford that luxury, also there was a lot of corruption, and people were beginning to question everything.
Employees who were working various job positions, were not getting insurance by their employers and many people worked with money under the table.
Also there was a lot of violence committed by the police. It was generally a terrible time

As for bread sticks being too hard lmao 😂 our school canteen had yummy junk food, although a bit pricey for a student but oh well.

Eh some things are actually worse. For example lately they legalized 6 days of labor instead of 5. For example if an employer asks an employee to work for an additional day, well if they say no, they risk getting fired. Other civilized countries in Europe are having 4, while Greece... Damn. We are only going backwards, but oh well... There are even more terrible things that have happened but I would rather stop, it is depressing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sounds like your country isn't as wealthy as they want to be, that 6 days of labor stuff sounds like their economy isn't doing so well so they are trying to push people to work to grow the economy, but I don't know enough about all that stuff, maybe they just like torturing people and tiring them out lol

As for the country it is doing terrible financially.
In the past yes, more than that actually, but it was not legal.
I have worked for a month non stop at some point without a day off, I was extremely agitated and exhausted. I felt like a zombie. And at some point I worked for 5-6 days but for 11-12 hours. That was bad too.

Right now in the current job that I have, no. I work for 5.

Why did you hate school though? Were the teachers terrible? Or the classmates? What was your experience?

A lot of the teachers were actually people that were given opportunities after from jail, I know one stalked his ex wife, another had an assault charge I think and I'm sure there's more but that wasn't why I didn't like school, I always just had that build my own empire type of mentality so I found it a waste of time, along with that and the fact that my parents wasted 2 dollars everyday for lunch didn't sit right with me considering they didn't have money like that so I stopped going to school and started hustling, we caused a lot of trouble until we finally got kicked out, I've created good memories with people that are no longer with me so I don't regret it.

It is good to have the mindset of building your own empire, you can use that mindset in a creative way to achieve a lot of things if that is what you desire.
I am sorry that those people are no longer with you.
Even if you got into trouble, you learned things that no school is able to teach you.
It is also a positive thing that you do not regret those times, like you said, you created memories with them some bad, some good and you learned lots of stuff and it all counts.

Thanks for the pep talk, I like to believe that also, I think people really like to revolve all of someone's future around schools and brainwash people to believe it's all that's required to succeed in life which I believe to a point and I believe it's that way for people that want to have a good job and don't plan on moving from that and want that comfort of stable income, which is understandable and I don't hate on it but I like to believe that someone doesn't truly start living until the worries and issues of finance are out of the picture.

Yes and no. I loved the first week of school -- seeing my friends again, seeing some of my favorite teachers again. Even the principal was really cool -- or at least *I* thought so. Some folks I wasn't a fan of (and possibly the feeling was mutual)... and the itchy uniforms were awful... but I loved reading about new things and chatting about them at dinner with my family... I can say that I appreciated it even if I didn't love it, especially once I caught up to the values of being bilingual.

I hated going to school and would tell my mom I was sick or id ask to stay home often and my mom would usually let me lol. The only time I liked school was the last 2 years of high school. Since I was more talkative and had more friends and acquaintances.

I went to an exclusive (20k per year tuition when I started) private school. If we weren't there and our parents or the administration didn't know where we were, the school called the police to search.
As for going to school, I didn't really hate or enjoy it that much. I rarely missed and the only day I missed where I was actually not sick was because I needed several hours of uninterrupted time to work on assignments, which our block scheduling did not support.

I have dyslexia, but it really only made math difficult for me. had no problem wrapping my mind around most mathematical concepts but following all the numbers and letters and symbols was just too much and I would also write down numbers wrong. I don't think I needed to be in special ed for anything other than math.

I wasn't in classes with kids with things like autism. Middle school was classes with two teachers and HS was just a smaller class with one teacher.

1. I was a self-declared fashionista. Therefore, I enjoyed it when schoolmates admired & complimented the clothing & accessories I usually sewed & coordinated together.

2. I actually like learning and getting accolades.

3. Being the free spirit that I am, I kept running around the track and the field that I ended up in the track team and the soccer team where I excelled in both.

4. I was always competitive. So, I joined just about every remaining sport and academic groups I found interesting like swimming, volleyball, academic tournaments and dance competitions.
