Back when you were in school did you enjoy school? Also what type of student were you?

I was quiet and shy (around people I was close to, it was another story). I was a good student and the majority of teachers liked me 😅 However, I didn't really enjoy high school. I looked forward to graduation.
I'm a pretty shy person in general tbh 😅 I wasn't shy around people I was close to/hang out with every day at school.
Wouldn't call myself popular at all 😆 Hmm, that's a difficult question 🤔🤣 I literally laughed before answering your question because of our usernames 😆
Andrea 😆
Hated it. I was put into a continuation school sophomore year and got expelled from there a year later. I was a god damn menace.
@Lyndsielee666 you seem so nice.
I had brass knuckles on me and someone else’s anti depressants 🙄
@exitseven I am nice if people are nice to me 😭
Oh I almost went to jail for those things. My uncle was the sheriff so all I got was a ticket thankfully. 🥱

I played baseball in school which I enjoyed. For me, baseball was the best thing about school. Beginning in my freshman year (9th grade) I was completely focused on being appointed the US Naval Academy. Everything I did academically, as well as in sports and mt extracurricular activates was focused on making that happen (it didn't).
Because I played varsity baseball I could hang with the jocks and lurk on the fringes with the "cool kids", but that wasn't me. Deep down I was a math and science geek- although I'm not sure if the term geek existed back then.
In class I was a smartass know it all who enjoyed "picking on" the mediocre/lazy teachers and pointing out their lack of knowledge on subject matter. On the other hand, I respected the good teachers and paid close attention in the classes where it was possible to actually learn something.
Frankly, I was bored throughout most of high school and enjoyed my college and university years much more. Good luck in your studies.
I didn't enjoy school. It was usually boring in class. I just liked my time out of school to hang out with friends and do stuff together like gaming (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, WWF, Street Fighter Alpha 2) playing table top RPGs on the weekend, riding bikes, pool, bowling, arcade, playing basketball with friends, and stuff like that.
Now as an adult I can teach and I try to make things more interesting, fun, and social in class when possible so it won't be as boring for students as it was for me when I was growing up. I like having "Fun Friday" so all of the 5th graders that got their work completed for the week (every assignment), I bring board games so they can play them in class with their friends for about 45 to 50 minutes at the end of the day on Fridays. I bring Sorry, Aggravation, UNO, Connect 4, Clue, and Clash of the Cards. I usually play with a group of them of either Clue or Clash of the Cards. Those can both have up to 6 players so that lets me interact with more of them at once, otherwise I would want to play Catan, my favorite game, but it would only be 4 players.
I went to 11 different schools , I hated school and was placed in the learning disabilities classes.
In 7th grade we started the California achievement tests, everyone took them, if you got %90 or better then they gave you the next test.
By the second week if testing there were only two of us left myself and my best friend. Then it was only me. I completed them all up to the second year college level and was moved into the advanced placement classes. I was already a skilled programmer and had perfect act sat scores in jr high.
I did not like high school but I loved university, was a bad student who tried hard but got low grades in high school was a good student who tried hard and got exceptional grades in university. I never got below an A, most of the time I did not even get A-, only A and A+ and A++.
I loved school! Mostly. The "school" part was great, the peers... not so much.
I guess I was the teacher's pet. Being homeschooled wasn't as cool as when I had real teachers, but at least the drama was mitigated!
No I did not concentrate on school at all... but loved school. In highschool I was a true wild child. I partied like a rock star in highschool. I was not the most popular kid, I wasn't winning homecoming king or anything. But I moved around in a lot of social circles and had so much fun. I loved highschool it was a blast.
When it was over I didn't go to college I joined the Army and the party continued, worked hard, party hard. Eventually I grew up though.
I was the quiet student, with killer impulses.
Jokes apart, I was really quiet and introvert, I focused on lessons and learning, I had some subjects I enjoyed a lot, like history and maths. I felt guilty for my classmates when they maybe disrespected the teacher or for the ones that were blamed because didn’t studied.
I was kind of person that would over think things. and school if it was straight forward Id have no problem.. so something like math id just plug in formulas and spit out an answer and get a good score, but like English id be confused af.
also was horny too
I was a good student, always did all my work, tried to never miss school. Ended up graduating early cause of working through classes so fast but yes was very glad when it was all over.

@convo_king89 yess I was super horny. Remember I got pregnant when I was in high school lol
@Apple1996 you must of bloomed early. nice
@convo_king89 that is true I hit puberty early on like 8-9
@Apple1996 8-9 I think I was in the 3rd grade.. wow. i can only imagine
@convo_king89 yeah I fear to ever have a daughter since I know puberty will happen for her early too. Thankfully only have sons
@Apple1996 so you were a naughty schoolgirl?
@Red_Arrow very true it's much earlier now a days
Depends on what stage of school you're talking about. Middle School absolutely sucked. High School was ok, College was great, and Graduate School was even better.
I did not like elementary school at all. Middle school was so fun. I left the first year of high school and got a GED
I did not like High School. I was an angry and sullen kid and was on the outs with everyone and I was good with that.
I like school. I’m pretty good at it but I talk to my friends too much to be a teachers pet.
Nah... I always hated school. I actually still hate it, even though I'm in law school.
Hated school. Probably only stayed until graduation because of sports.
Hated every goddamed minute of it.
I hated it
