When you put your signal on to change lanes, are you asking for permission to merge or are you telling them to get out of your way because you're coming over no matter what?

Asking is one thing & telling is another & when you’re behind the wheel if there is enough space to fit a few vehicles in when you put your turn signal on you are TELLING however if traffic is bumper to bumper & you have to chance lanes you are ASKING.

If I want to change lanes in bumper to bumper traffic, I just keep inching my way in to where I want to go after signaling of course
