I had a cat for 19 years, he died about five years ago, and I miss him, but at the same time, the weight off of my shoulders…. I feel like I’m “allowed” to die now. I’d like to think I have a few decades left in front of me and I’m not going anywhere any time soon. But I was always hounded by this awful feeling of what the cat would do if I died, like in an accident or something. No one would be able to explain it to him, I just wouldn’t come home one day and he might think I abandoned him. I thought would be better if I died and he at least saw it and could understand. But this video makes me unsure, that poor cat was torn up😭 I think I just won’t have pets the rest of my life. Too much pressure and emotional trauma on the line😂

I had a bunny that died and in telling myself he was old he is among other sweet pets and my grandpa so they can keep each other company. These thoughts comfort me even though im not very religious. 😢 I also have a cat who is alive and well but at the thought of her dying i start crying.
