Caring is basically compassion, not pity, not sympathy but a true sense of I can see myself in that persons shoes no matter who or how. Sharing is compassion in action. We underestimate its importance because we have never ( most of us) been in a situation where there are limited resources for universally desired resources. It's easy to offer someone a glass of water. If you are in the wilderness with limited access to water ( this actually happened to me) and everyone running out, then sharing takes on a new gleam of altruism.

Depends upon what one is sharing. Food, yes. Pneumonia, no.

Yes. I share my doughnuts with my roommates, my dishsoap, my napkins... gas. All because I care. (i bought the things tho, and some got the "sour hate" on me.)

Aww... that just makes me want to come home. 🥲 I would bring them myself, but I don't want to put any pigeons out of work!! They break it down into shorter flights and use several pigeons on long flights, I hear. No pigeons were harmed in the filming of this documentary...
