I was wandering how many people on here have experienced the Mandela Effect (A psychological phenomenon wherein multiple people misremember a specific detail or event the same way.) I’ve experienced it a few times, but has anyone else experienced it?

I think have with other things, but not Mandela himself. He was in the news all the time. I don't know why people thought he was dead. He got out of prison and served as president. It was all over the damn news. It's not something to have a false memory of, unless someone totally didn't pay attention to the news - in which case they probably wouldn't even know who he was.
