I'm sorry that I wasn't able to paste the actual image here.
I think that it's worth checking out.
Enjoy a blast from the past.
Literally.

Yeah, I remember it but, it's utter bullshit! I've had Maxell tapes and they sound like shit! Loads of dropouts, horrible sound, bits of the sound just suddenly vanish for a few seconds. I'll stick with TDK, Sony or Fuji.
Now YOU'RE doing it. I'm settled. I'm just making a point.
The same I told you about, about those girls here picking fights. Assuming I'm "excited" about something when I'm just telling about my experiences with this or that. I think it's high time that everybody should know, by ow, that you can't type inflection and the way you read things is in YOUR head, and probably NOT that of the writer.
I don't remember you telling me anything about girls picking fights.
You gotta remember, Funk, my head ain't right these days.
A reader's interpretation is certainly influenced by the reader's perspective, but whatever is printed on a page most certainly first originated in the writer's head.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Nah, don't do that.
I know that you'd run with that invitation.
Lol.
It was in a PM a few hours ago.
Yep.
Mid to late `70's.
@FunkyMonkee
I don't know the exact date that the photo was taken, but it debuted in 1981 as an ad for Maxell.
I'm pretty sure I saw it in issues of National Lampoon as far back as the mid `70's.
@FunkyMonkee
I wouldn't know about NL.
All sources that I see say 1981.
I used to have every issue up to the early `90's when they became impossible to find.
Now, I've got them all (except all the special issues) on 2 sets of DVD ROMs.
@FunkyMonkee
Of course you do.
I wouldn't expect any less from the Funkster.
You'd better get to work on acquiring those special issues.
Well, some day, when I have a shitload of cash. They are collectors items, now and quite expensive.
@FunkyMonkee
I guess you mean that you'll get them when pigs fly.
Not that I wouldn't like to see you flush with cash.
I USED to have them al `til my ex-sisters had me kicked out oof my house 5 years ago!
Well, I'm getting back into voice acting work, again and other stuff, too so, maybe, soon, I'll be able to start MAKING money.
I hear the casino calling me the past few hours. Maybe I should pay them a visit and see if I can win a bundle.
@FunkyMonkee What is the casino calling you?
Do you know them that well, that they have you on speed dial or something?
Sucker!
No, just the past few hours, I've been feeling like I should go back and try my luck, again.
That's quite a nostalgic piece! The classic Coca-Cola ad features a vibrant, joyful scene that perfectly captures the essence of its time. The bright colors and lively characters contribute to the joyful atmosphere, invoking a sense of nostalgia for simpler times. Advertisements like these have left a lasting impact on pop culture and can transport us instantly back to the era they represent. 😊🍹
Coca-Cola? It's obviously an old ad for Confidettes sanitary napkins.

I remember that it was about speakers. But not the actual brand. Maybe Bose?
It was a Maxell recording tape ad.
I've always loved it from the first time that I saw it all those years ago.
I just happened to think of it today and realized that maybe many younger people have never seen it.
Also, that some of us older folks might enjoy seeing it again.
Cheers to you.
I think I do.
Yes I remember now. I have seen it.
