Trending & News Very slowly. I notice that the mind and body will seek homeostasis sooner & more aggressively if we deviate too far from our current norm is too quickly. They like gradual introductions preferably in unnoticeable increments in the short term view, but big ones in the long term.
For instance, last year when I started working out again, I didn't train like I do now. My body wouldn't have been able to handle it. I didn't eat as healthy as I do now because I was too used to eating certain junk foods I enjoyed. But after slowly taking out the bad & adding in more good overtime, now I'm able to achieve & sustain the physique I want without burning out or feeling like any aspect of my training or diet is too much (not counting mtor reset weeks).
Very well, gradual changes normally work.
You have to have a vision that draws you forward in front of you, and a fear that you are running away from. When those two things are lined up you can't help but change
I think for me, I really had to hit my lowest to make changes to my lifestyle, food habits and even relationships.
Clearly define what you want to achieve. Subsequently, it is easy.
