Why he Left even tho he loved me, what did I do to make him detach from me emotionally. He said he loves me but doesn't Care about me "what is there to loose that I haven't lost, you? I don't care about you anymore" I need to understand why. I told I can't stop loving him and he told me to better stop loving him and if I didn't leave he would keep hurting me.

  People who get to that level have a high degree of ambition and drive. Those kind of people seldom retire at a young age. They tend to be workaholics and just keep working. Even when they do retire from public office, they usually keep working in some capacity.

  I watched a Star Trek (next generation) episode. They managed to "beam up" an Irish dude. He said that every ounce of pleasure in this life, is paid for with an ounce of pain. Dang!
