60hz is perfectly fine for a phone. My phone can do 60 or 120hz, and I always keep it set at 60hz, notice virtually no difference and it gives slightly better battery life.
My samsung Galaxy a32 5G has both 60hz and 90hz so sweet to have
But I noticed there's a huge increase with 90hz in scrolling
Then again 60hz on my smartphone works perfect
Increase in what?
Like it feels smoother to scroll
Got it, yes faster refresh rate can make scrolling feel smoother, for some it can be a night and day difference.
I don't know I still prefer 60hz lol
I still prefer 60hz to, since I mostly watch YouTube videos which max out at 60fps
There was a guy on here who said anything below 120hz isn't good?
Don't pay attention to him, as long as it's not below 60hz, it's good, especially if you want longer battery life.
Sure do I mean my phone has a big battery like 5000
My phone can do both 60hz and 90hz I saw the same model that could only do 60hz
Mine has also has a 5000mah battery, but still prefer 60hz as it gives all day battery life. Phone specs can very slightly from carrier to carrier.
Mine has both isn't that cool?
Yes it is cool. Mine does 60hz and 120hz, once in a blue moon I'll use 120hz when plugged in, but 99% of the time 60hz is perfectly fine.
How is 90hz to you?
Just as a heads up.
After10 years of service I'm leaving G@G? ↗
Wait you mean now or later?
Pretty good in my opinion. My old phone supported 90hz, but almost never used it as I preferred 60hz as it gave longer battery life.
Now as in a few days.
90hz does feel smoother although I feel some lag using it
It's a bit much that's why
I didn't notice much of any lag with 90hz, guess it all depends on the phone. My new phone, 60hz feels smoother then 60hz on my old phone.
I mean there was no lag when I used it felt way faster while scrolling
My phone is from 2021
It's not just screen hz, processor speed/performance can also effect how smooth scrolling feels. My old phone is from 2021, my new phone is from 2023 and has a much better processor, so it feels smoother then my old phone at 60hz. Your Galaxy has pretty good mid range processor, so naturally it's going to feel smooth at 60hz and even smoother at 90hz.
It's from 2021 so newer then my 2018 j7 crown phone
Lmao
