What things do you collect?

I collect all kinds of stationery and greeting cards, even if I am not going to send any to anyone because now everyone text messages, but I have been collecting paper and stationery since I was about 5 years old. I love it and pretty greeting cards that say such wonderful things in them that touch the recipient's heart. 💜
I also collect all gingerbread people or anything that has Gingerbread people in or on it! I fell in love with the gingerbread boy when I was a little girl and my mom used to read me the story book about him. I loved the pictures in it.
So, I am surrounded by gingerbread people in my home. After all, they ALWAYS have a sweet smile on their face which makes me smile. 🙂

TEDDY BEARS... I still have the family teddy bear which has been handed down through four generations, and will eventually be handed down to our own children... Since then I have both collected and rescued (charity shops) teddies, and now have almost 140... We shall very shortly have to start looking for a fourth showcase cabinet!

I have even "managed somehow to recruit" my husband in keeping his eyes open for any "patients" requiring a loving home!

I never considered all of my pictures as a collection.
I have baby pictures of me - one taken on my first birthday and I framed it and it hangs up on my bedroom wall.
My mom saved everything! Especially pictures. So that's why I have so many.

My first job was as a Fotomate at Fotomat stores. So lots of pictures of friends from high school.

I usually keep my camera handy and have such wonderful memories of so many people.

Pictures are great to have as long as they are real pictures and not just on a cell phone

I use manual settings on my cellphone and the pictures are great, I also have a professional camera I use, when I crave more artistic pictures

1. Analogue cameras. I must have about 30 of them. All in perfect working order. I actually go backwards in time and now acquire stuff that's older than me.

2. Euro coins. Each country that issues them makes its own design.

3. Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I still have all the cars I used to play with as a kid. Now collecting only cars from a certain model and time span. There are so many variations you have to limit yourself.

I am old enough to remember the boys playing with their matchbox cars. They really had fun with them and were quite creative at doing different things with them. I used to love to watch them.

Part of the 'fun' is finding the special editions in a shop for a very cheap price. But the big 'online global toy store' is addictive.

You can find just about anything on eBay. I shop there a lot.

Also Etsy has unique things to sell on that site.

But you would know best where to look.

Those sites are definitely worth a look. But I find that eBay has a lot of sellers that ask a ridiculous price, as if they own a gem while there are thousands of the same items out there.

Actually no, it won't end up in the trash when I die because my caregiver collects both things as I do.
Plus we both collect stickers. I love stickers and if I do finally get to send someone a card or letter, I always put stickers on the envelope ✉️ and on the card or letter. They really jazz up birthday cards.
I am going to be sending out Christmas cards this year for the first time since 2018.
I ordered them in August and of course they have Gingerbread people on them with a verse from the Bible.
I also purchased Gingerbread return address labels and already had tons of Christmas stickers from year's past - and yes, they are mostly of gingerbread people. 🙂
I also think they should have an emoji of the gingerbread boy with his cute little smile.
