As for slippers I use beach sandals instead & I have a pair just for wearing around the house.

  Absolutely & the sandals I wear are are open toe & they have gel padding & they are comfortable. My other pair of sandals are for when I go walking on the beach. Tuesday looks like a beach day for me.
