I have those thick slipper/socks for when snuggling on the couch. But I wear heal-less sneakers walking around the house on cooler days.

  They are more like sturdy slippers then. If you have big dogs that like to stand on your feet, etc. it protects them better.

Yes, I have some very comfortable slippers. It saves my socks. Around the house, we don't wear shoes, and if I'm just in my socks, well, it isn't long before there's a hole in them.
