3K opinions shared on Other topic. I no longer believe in unconditional love. As a young blue-pilled lad, if I were asked my opinion on the concept, I would have spouted how unconditional love is true & real. Likely because that is what I was told by me elders who were likely told by theirs. But older & wiser me knows better.
I know that if any emotion deviates from indifference, it not only requires condition, but to be love in its truest sense, it must thrive on it.
As a biological being, to truly love is to hold great preference for. To prefer is to pursue a chosen end. Pursuing that end is an act of selection. Selection, by its nature, disregards what falls outside of ones preferred conditions. Conditions of which we heavily rely upon to even discern meaning from what we love in the first place.10 Reply

1 yAn inerrant Bible.
If you begin listening to actual Bible scholars, you'll find that their definition of inerrant is completely different from what pastors teach and laypeople believe. It's a death knell for Christianity if large numbers of their average congregant finds out. Most Christians have built their entire faith around the concept of "inerrancy". But when you realize that a church believes that the Bible is inerrant "in the original texts", and then learn that those no longer exist and haven't since before the first English Bible was written, it'll shake up anyone's faith, if they are honest.

1 yI think we have free will to try to choose a better path but we still dont have control over what will happen in our lives as in where we’d end up or when we’ll die so in a way its still fate/destiny/God’s Plan. I can’t think of anything I don’t believe at the moment. I prob never believed in a lot in the first place. But i’ll always believe in God

Yep same here. I will always believe in God no matter what. I've had some tragic things happen to me but even so I still believed in God and will continue to do so.

Nobody is Inherently Good or Evil, it is a matter of what circumstance, one's personal needs and Perception of viewer that determines will the Action be Considered good or Evil.
World isn't divided into Good or Evil, but it is Divided into competition of Power.
Both the Sides are Good and Evil Simultaneously..
You just need to Make sure which Side is Good towards you and Majority of people, and Ensure it is Instated into Power. This Ensuring welfare of Masses and Greater Good!

It is sad, but I feel that it is possible and I was avoiding that thought for decades.11 Reply- 1 y
That is interesting indeed. I was for sure that fate was a thing until the person I thought I was supposed to be with ended up not being who I was supposed to be with. Now I just feel that free will is more of a thing than ever before.

Point being I have no answer, if it ain't backed by science I am not holding much weight to it if anything rejecting it.20 Reply12.8K opinions shared on Other topic. I had an uncle who used to tell me that fate favors the one that digs the deepest foxhole. I no longer believe in any of our government organizations. The FBI is crooked. The World Health Organization is the tank with China. They should be renamed the Chinese Health Organization. The FDA is now a political organization to make democrats look good.

1 yFrom my personal experience I disagree with you
But to answer your question. After visiting Taiwan I stopped believing that there is only one God, until this Dominican Republican guy on this website said that the other "gods" are actually demons

Oh I learned there were religious older than the one I believed in which wouldn't make any sense if the religion was true that was the first seed of doubt then I learned more about the Bible a few years later and thought about the passages and they did not line up with what I believe is right like the flood story that's just genocide anyone can kill but it would take real talent to change minds willingly
