Would you rather have the power to travel through time or would you rather be able to read minds?

Here is the catch: if you choose the power to travel through time you can never return to your original timeline. If you choose to read minds you hear everyone's thoughts at once.

one of the things that I like the most is to actually get to know people...

getting to know people is what makes me fall for them (the ones I fell for anyway)

and I would need and prefer this to remain as genuine and natural as possible, so... I guess I'll be warping all over the universe instead, lol

Definitely Travel in Time. In fact, if I could read minds, I'd go crazy. In fact, there are a lot of stupid, crazy people around us. And when you discover it for yourself, it will be simply scary.

Read minds. I can time travel forever, but that isn't going to ensure I'll live forever and I won't really be able to build as good of a connection with others either. Reading minds can keep me in anyone's life as I please and offer me more opportunities with less resistance.

Wouldn't the "never able to the original timeline only be relevant if you went back in time? Because why would going into the future alter the timeline (I mean you are bringing back knowledge from the future, but the past doesn't know that).
