I track everything I eat into a calorie tracker app. I haven't missed a day this year. I then take the caloric data & paste it in a spreadsheet I've created that calculates what weight I'll be based on what I've eaten:

Tbh I'm trying to get other people to do similar things but they don't seem to have the want or drive to. Which is why I think I'm weird for this. 🤣

Too many times, when we think different from other people, or operate in a higher intelligence state than others, and we don’t find many that match our intelligence or vibe we tend to think that we’re weird, don’t fit the norm. We overthink it…!

Anyhow immediately I saw that spreadsheet I wanted to follow!

Starting from Aver. Rem. Cal.

Tbh, I really don't even feel that smart but people do make me feel that I'm at least not lazy. 🤣 And yeah no problem, here's how I got the values:

"starting weight"
- References the cell at the beginning of my chosen timeframe
e. g. =L2

"Target Weight"
- Supplies the number of whatever my goal weight is for the end of the chosen timeframe
e. g. 156.5

"Need to lose"
- Subtracts "Starting Weight" from "Target Weight"
e. g. =P2-P3

"Need to cut"
- Multiplies "Need to lose" by 3500
e. g. =P4*3500

"Timeframe"
- Counts the number of however many days that are selected within the "Date" column
e. g. =COUNT (H2:H31)

"Total Allocated"
- "Multiplies "Averaged TDEE" by the "Timeframe," then subtracts what I "Need to cut"
e. g. =(P12*P6)-P5

"Total So Far"
- Sums all logged calorie intakes under the "Consumed" column, provided they are within the bounds of the selected "Timeframe"

"Days Left:"
- Counts blank cells within my "Consumed" column. Highlighted area must mirror the chosen "Timeframe"
e. g. =COUNTBLANK (I2:I31)

"Remaining Total"
- Subtracts "Total So Far" from "Total Allocated"
e. g. =P7-P8

"Current Average"
- Averages all logged caloric intakes within the selected area under the "Consumed" column. Highlighted area must mirror the chosen "Timeframe"
e. g. =AVERAGE (I2:I32)

"Averaged TDEE"
- References the average number of calories I tend burn per day.
e. g 2270

^I know this number is accurate for me because of how extensively I've logged all year. You can discover yours by tracking & logging your calories & weight over a long enough timeframe (I recommend 2 weeks to 1 month), then calculate the the difference of weight deviation (gained or lost) from either the previous days or selected area of calories consumed, multiply that difference by 3500 a you'll be able to see your recent TDEE.
e. g. Monday: 165.0lbs, Tuesday: 165.1lbs, .1*3500=350, your TDEE could be around 350cals below what you ate on Monday.

But I say do it over a long enough timeframe because bodyweight fluctuates so much. It's the reason for why other than today, I've only had 4 weigh-ins that reflected the truth of what my weight is when compared to the math. Only 4 correct weights within 21days. So keeping track of the most consistent weights relative to the math is important for setting everything up to flow on autopilot more accurately.

"Portion Per Day"
- Divides the "Remaining total" by "Days Left"
e. g. =(P10/P9)

"Current Weight"
- Displays my current weight for the current calendar day
e. g. =IFERROR (VLOOKUP (TODAY (), H2:L31, 5, FALSE), "No Data")

"Weight Lost:"
- Subtracts my 'Starting Weight" from my "Current Weight"
e. g. =IFERROR (P2 - P14, "No Data")

So basically, all of that is the backbone of the calculation. Hope this helps! And let me know if you want me to send you a template of it if you plan on doing it yourself.

No problem. Oh and yeah for the "rem. avg." column, If no caloric entry has been made for a day, I have it to show the "portion per day" amount & to aid "total dif" in showing what the average deficit would be relative to the new potion per day. e. g. =IF (I24="", $P$13, I24)
