Do bribes work on you?

There was only one instance where I was insanely close to being bribed and it was when the Marine Corps tried offering me $30k for staying in another 3 more years.


Then I hear they were saying the same to every service member, there was no money in the budget. Service members were waiting for their payment for many months and on going..


Then seeing our government handing out billions of our money to foreign countries.


I literally thought “why tf am I making this sacrifice for these sick politicians anymore” so last year was my final year in. Then again I was getting to be too old for what I did in the military.


Do I miss it? Absolutely. I loved doing what I did. But I guess everything comes to an end eventually
