Is there any loopholes for putting a item in someone name?

So let's say you're put a product in someone name cause you're afraid the company might recognize yours and take money off your card but you still paid for it with it with your money and then years later you're regret that choice cause the person became unbearable and is causing you problems and is complaining about said product and if they ever do anything to it you're wondering if there's some type of loophole to charge for property damage cause if there isn't the only you can prove is that you paid for it and that's pretty much it, tho stuff like that requires hindsight so that choice made sense back then.
