The GaG experience is changing and not for the better. What is your opinion why this happening?

My personal observation is that there are too many Anonymous members. It's overwhelming the website. It's taking away from the personalization of coming on here and communicating with the friends that we have made by our contributions to making this website a friendly one.
Members have made many suggestions for improving GaG but our ideas and suggestions fall on deaf ears.
I believe that with the passing of time, the intelligent people and the baby boomers are being out numbered with the new generations who don't want to work, don't want to learn, etc., therefore, conversations on GaG are mostly meh!!
There are a lot of subjects members could be asking questions about because there is so plenty of various activities happening all around the world 🌍 right now. This is a very serious time in history and members could be asking questions about these various subjects but they don't.
I try to spice it up by showing videos about relationships because after all, it's girls ask guys right? So I try to provide some insight on dating and love relationships and to have the members more informed about their relationships and hopefully be enlightened about behaviors where men and women are different and educating members about things they didn't know before viewing the videos.

I only have been here since 2019 and in those 5 years, G@G has constantly gone down in terms of quality of posts, quality of people and now, G@G has implemented those AI bots that give opinions based on personal experiences.

Also, anonymous posting should never be allowed because it is a heaven for trolls and spammers alike. Not that having a profile visible to others makes much of a difference since most of those accounts do not reflect the real person behind those avatars and accounts.

For me, the entire "Sexuality/Pornography" as well as "Politics" sections can be removed. It would perhaps increase a tad the quality of this failing site.

In those 5 years I have been with G@G, I have never given an answer using the anonymous option. Only cowards and trolls/spammers do. If you don't have the courage of you opinions, then don't answer the questions or don't ask questions in the first place.

I agree with you 💯% about that there shouldn't be Anonymous members hiding behind the hostile things they say to other members and constantly saying horrible things about Trump supporters as well as Trump. Then they go and hide away somewhere else after they say whatever the hell they say on this website and we can't do a single thing about it.
I have had the sexuality topic blocked ever since I became a member here 3-1/2 years ago.
But perhaps there wouldn't be a GaG website without the sexuality topic.
I recently had my account frozen for the first time on here and I still don't know why? 🤷🏼‍♀️
I guess they don't like it when we tell the truth about certain other countries and their people killing Americans with Fentanyl because that was the subject matter in that particular opinion. So, off to GaG Jail I went. I am a 70 year old woman that got in trouble like I was in first grade!!

G@G would never survive without the sexuality and politics topics. Those are the ones that keeps G@G alive because that is where most people go and troll. Furthermore, if you remove the only 2 topics where all the new members go in the first place, G@G would lose all the income generated by advertisement.

I had reported a post about how the porn industry misuse people with Down Syndrome and others have reported that post as well. Nothing has been done because G@G has no interest in protecting the weak and oppressed.

I used to be an Ubermod and Influencer and I relinquished my status when I realized that all mods have quotas to achieve. If you don't you first get reprimanded and then you lose your status. So what happens? Moderators will block anything just to achieve their quota, be it whether the block is justified or not.

It is sad that places like this have to rely on amateur moderators that block just about anything and I do suspect that your post was removed and your account reviewed just because someone needed to reach his/her quota and found your post offensive.

a regular mod needs to report 10 posts a month. A Supermod I believe 15 and an Ubermod 20. Assuming that there are at least 100 mods on G@G, that would make about 1,500 post if you take the average Supermod quota.

Moderators don't have the authority to remove a question/answer, only to hide them from view of the others. There is a hidden menu on the top bar, only visible to moderators where hidden posts appear.

We had a lot of traffic during the election and a lot of people are not happy with the results. I was surprised how many questions there were about Biden pardoning his son.

I am not liking the things that I am reading about what Elon Musk is going to do to Social Security benefits for seniors like me and disabled people like my son.
Plus he's going to ruin MediCare and Medicaid. My son and I have both of those because we qualified for the benefits.
Man, I worked for 30 frickin years 7 and paid into social security every paycheck for all 30 years and some uppity billionaire is going to just take everything that I worked so hard for since I was 16!!
See, that asshole doesn't have a clue how what he's going to do when he takes away all of the benefits that keep me going in life.

Social Security benefits are only for people who worked and put their own money into the fund and for disabled people.
But Biden has illegal aliens receiving our social security benefits.
That's why it's going to run out of money sooner than planned.
But how do we stop it?

@seeyounexttuesday The problem is that most companies got away from pension plans. They offloaded it onto the employees and as a result there will be millions of impoverished old people. I see lots of old people working menial jobs to try and pay their bills. Some people just spent all their money on trips to Disneyworld and fancy cars. Some just never made a lot of money.

Maybe if enough of us don't acknowledge them and they don't get any (zero) opinions to their questions or replies they will have to stop hiding themselves from us and stop expecting us to give them our time, energy and information (using us to help them out).
